The Kalix River is one of the National Rivers in Sweden

The Kalix River is a unique river with an undisturbed, pulsating ecological life. Here, man might still enjoy experiences in the wilderness along an unexploited water system. There are no power plants or other heavy industries here, which might have damaged the life nerve - the free-flowing river. We are proud to offer You a piece of genuine wilderness, a heritage from the past, to us modern present-day people. A gift which we happily will leave to our children and grandchildren.

The Kalix River has a good reputation for being a salmon river, and is the most important component for the future survival of the Baltic Sea salmon. The rod-fishing for large pike, in the area close to the estuary, is well known and a concept throughout the world of angling.

The Kalix River area is also crossed by a number of beautiful and from the angler's point of view, interesting tributaries, such as the Kaitum River, the Tärendö River, The Nark River, the Ängeså River and the Lina River.

Active measures for the preservation of fishery and biotopes, have made some of these rivers into some of Europe's most excellent angling rivers. One such river is without a doubt the virginal and totally unexploited Kaitum River.

Join us on a trip to some exotic locations in the Kalix River valley!
